NORWAY — Have you ever thought that you might like to go on a mission trip, but have not found an affordable opportunity? The eighth annual Mexico Missions Trip will take place the week of March 25.

The local Mexico Missions Team will have an informational/organization meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at Grace United Methodist Church, 130 O’Dill Drive in Norway.

It will be a short meeting to explain the trip, what needs to be done to participate and to answer any other questions.

“We run an eye clinic and give away eye glasses, we run a medical clinic, we have a food kitchen with a meal for the people everyday and we pray and play with the people and children,” said an event organizer.

Participants do not need to have any type of medical training to be a part of this mission trip; however, all people with medical backgrounds are welcome.

“You also do not need to speak Spanish to join the group, but if you have Spanish-speaking skills and are interested we would love to have you join us,” she said. “We hope to see you at our meeting.”

If you have questions and can’t attend the meeting, call Gail Robert at 906-221-5188.
