ADRC seeks board member

FLORENCE, Wis. — The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Florence County seeks a county resident to serve on the ADRC Governing Board to represent the interests of adults with developmental disabilities in Florence County.

An ADRC committee member’s responsibility is to attend the 6-8 regular meetings held annually, and advocate for the interests of disabled adults and elderly individuals through program oversight and planning.

The purpose of the ADRC Board is to advise and recommend policy to the Florence County Board of Supervisors in the oversight of the programs for seniors and for disabled adults in Florence County including: Nutrition, Transportation, Benefits Specialist, Health Promotion, Family Caregiver Support, and long term care options.
