GFWC plans luncheon
IRON MOUNTAIN — The Iron Mountain-Kingsford Women’s Club GFWC is meeting at noon Friday, March 3, at Pine Grove Country Club in Iron Mountain.
Luncheon menu will feature spinach lasagna with garlic bread. Cost is $15, all inclusive.
Guest speaker will be Officer Adam Ray of the Iron Mountain Police Department with his service dog, Falcon. Falcon is a purebred Belgian Melinois and is trained in drug detection, officer protection and tracking lost people.
This will be an exciting and informative program, notes GFWC spokesperson, Pam Edens.
Ways and Means Committee will be selling vintage jewelry and scarves.
Plans will be made for the May 4-7 state convention which will be held at the Terrace Bay Inn in Gladstone.
GFWC is a service organization and is open to all local women.
