Wedding: Carlson, Joski

Desirae Carlson and James Joski II

KINGSFORD — Desirae Carlson and James Joski II, along with their children, Natalie Carlson and James Joski III, announce their marriage.

The couple was married on Feb. 25, 2017, in a church ceremony at St. Mary Queen of Peace in Kingsford, with the Rev. Michael Woempner officiating.

Desirae is the daughter of Martin and Kim Fox.

James is the son of Judith Joski and the late James Joski I.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by both of her parents. She wore a dropped waist, white strapless gown, a cathedral veil and her great-grandmother’s necklace. She carried a bouquet of white lilies.

Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Nichole Wender, and the best man was the groom’s brother, Logan Lebo.

The bride is a graduate of Bay de Noc Community College and is currently working as an licensed practical nurse. 

The groom is currently a student at Bay de Noc Community College and is studying to be an EMT.

A reception followed at the Island Resort and Casino in Harris.

After a honeymoon trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple is currently residing in Kingsford.
