Florence County Library announces its summer reading program beginning June 13
Florence, Wis. — Florence County Library has announced its summer reading program events.
This year’s theme is “Build a Better World.” Everyone is invited from 10 to 11 a.m.on Tuesdays and one Wednesday for a morning of fun. In addition, each event will include a free snack.
Summer schedule include:
Tuesday, June 13 — Animals! Animals! with David Stokes
Tuesday, June 20 — Kingdom Animals Exotics
Tuesday, June 27 — Michigan’s Science fun Program!
Tuesday, July 11 — Soda Pups Entertainment
Wednesday, July 19 — Snakes Alive
Tuesday, July 25 — Mischief and Magic!
Tuesday, Aug. 1– Bubble Wonders
The library will wrap up the summer activities on Au. 1 with an ice cream social.
All are encouraged and welcome to attend.
The library would also like to acknowledge the Birth-to-3 program, and to the Friends of the Florence County Library for helping to sponsor some events and the books that will be to be given to each child that attends.
