Danielson one of artists featured at Art for All

Jewelry created by Kristine Danielson will be available at the 50th annual Art for All set for Saturday in City Park in Iron Mountain.

IRON MOUNTAIN — The 50th annual Art for All will take place rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at City Park in Iron Mountain.

In addition to the array of artwork, musical entertainment and interesting demonstrations will be featured. A hands-on craft area will be available for children from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a “better than ever picnic” provided by Econo Foods with Fred Jump doing a pig roast.

A silent auction provides scholarships for senior art students. There will be opportunities for those attending the show to win $50 to be spent at the show. Drawings will be held at 11 a.m. and 1, 2 and 3 p.m.

Kristine Danielson will be among the featured artists at this year’s Art For All. She makes one-of-a-kind jewelry that reflects the landscapes of the northern forests. Each piece is created individually using a variety of technical skills, unique gems and minerals, copper, silver and many colors of gold.

Danielson obtained her bachelor degree in metalsmithing from Northern Michigan University. She continued her studies at Cranbrook Academy of Art, graduating with a master of fine arts degree.
