Sunday dance features Derrell Syria Project

CRYSTAL FALLS — The 33rd season of the Second Sunday Folk Dance series continues with the Derrell Syria Project in concert at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Fortune Lake Camp in Crystal Falls.

White Water will perform a 25-minute opening concert set, with Derrell Syria Project to follow. After the concert, the Front Parlor Dance Band and dance caller Steve Kickert provide dance music and instruction until 7 p.m. Dean and Bette Premo organize and host the Second Sunday concert/dance series.

Admission is $7 for adults; those age 15 and younger are admitted free.

The remaining lineup of guest musicians for the 33rd season includes Joe Jencks on Dec. 10, Bryan Bowers on Jan.14, Steve Kickert and Carrie Dlutkowski on Feb. 11, Gina Forsyth on March 11 and Joel Mabus on April 8.
