Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program offers help to seniors
IRON MOUNTAIN — Navigating Medicare can be tough for many seniors. From prescription drug plans to private health plans, it’s not surprising people with Medicare sometimes are confused about their health insurance and options.
The Upper Peninsula Commission for Area Progress, or UPCAP, offers a Michigan Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program that works with people to help them understand their Medicare benefits, bills and rights.
MMAP services are free, confidential, and available to all Michigan Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers.
