Florence County Historical Society meets on Tuesday

FLORENCE, Wis. — The Florence County Historical Society will begin their monthly meetings at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Webb-Judge House at 200 Central Ave. in Florence.

The agenda will include discussions on new exhibits at the museum and activities planned for the coming summer season.

The museum is scheduled to open from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 9. It is manned by members of the Society each Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The museum’s largest fundraiser is the Quilt Show and Strawberry Social including local crafters set for June 23.

They welcome anyone interested in joining the historical society to attend the meeting.
