SYDNEY HEDMARK

NIAGARA, Wis. — Sydney Hedmark was awarded the Hiram D. Fisher Masonic Scholarship for Niagara High School’s Class of 2018. The $1,000 scholarship was presented during commencement ceremonies May 25.

Hedmark is the daughter of Janis and Paul Hedmark of Aurora, Wis.

She plans to study radiation therapy at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

The scholarship is provided annually to high school seniors at Niagara and Florence high schools by the members of the Hiram D. Fisher Masonic Lodge of Florence, with additional matching funding provided by the Wisconsin Masonic Foundation.

Those selected for the awards must have demonstrated community and religious involvement, leadership, and service and have exhibited potential for future achievement.
