Simon was the first disciple of Jesus. Jesus changed Simon’s name to Peter who was the closet disciple to Jesus. Peter proclaimed that Jesus was the Messiah but did betray him three times. Peter was placed in prison by Herod. The whole city of Jerusalem prayed for his release. God sent an angel to release him to freedom. he was later crucified upside down on a cross. He was martyred at Peter’s Bacilica in AD64.

The Chaplet was said to honor Blessed Mother Mary.

The June “Hail Mary” prayer will be for all active members.

Chancellor said the closing prayer and all sand “We’re The Daughters of Isabella” in unity.

Lunch was served by Hostess Lu Villa followed by bingo with cash prizes.
