Borderland Arts group resumes meetings
IRON MOUNTAIN — Borderland Arts will resume its meetings for the fall on Thursday, Sept. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Bay West College’s lower level art room.
A short informal business meeting will begin the evening’s activities.
Then Borderland Arts member Cyndi Safstrom will talk about her multi-faceted artist path.
She will bring “show and tell” items created during her journey’s meanderings. You can find more information about her most recent creations at be-a-doll.com.com and on Etsy.
“I have enjoyed crafts and art my entire life, and have sculpted for the past decade. I love making dolls and action figures of everyday heroes,” Safstrom said.
Questions are encouraged. Those who also would like to bring show-and-tell items to the meeting should feel free to do so.
“We hope to see you on the 6th, and if you have any suggestions for classes you would like to take, please bring them with you. We are open to all ideas. New members are always welcome,” Borderland Arts member Elizabeth Early said.
