The Menominee Range Historical Foundation’s third-annual museum open house will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the World War II Glider and Military Museum and the Cornish Pumping Engine and Mining Museum at 300 Kent St. and the Menominee Range Historical Museum at 300 E. Ludington St., both in Iron Mountain. The Friends of the Museum will host an “everything must go sale” today through Sunday to liquidate their rummage sale items. Pictured is Dianne Castelaz-Chiapusio, museum manager, getting items ready for the sale. Some highlights of the open house include members of the World War II Historical Reenactment Society from Green Bay, Wis., representing C Company, 401st Glider Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, as well as antique tractors and classic cars on display on the museum grounds.
