Dickinson MARSP to meet Sept. 20
IRON MOUNTAIN — The Dickinson Chapter of the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel will meet Thursday, Sept. 20, at Pine Grove Country Club.
Rachel Saputo, the new manager of Michigan BC/BS Insurance, will present the program, “Updates on Insurance for Under and Over Age 65.”
Reservations are required.
A social hour with coffee provided will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a noon luncheon. A cash bar also will be available. The noon luncheon will feature chicken stir fry over rice with a spring roll and salad for $16. A chef salad for $14 is available on request when making reservations either online or when called. No alterations may be made to either selection.
The calling committee began contacting members Sunday. Those not contacted by noon Thursday should email Patty Rose at firstname.lastname@example.org or call her at 906-779-5423 to make a reservation. The deadline to add or cancel reservations is noon Friday.
Members whose emails are on the list also will be contacted by email. Online reservations will be made through Patty Rose this month by sending confirmation to her email at email@example.com. Those who send in a reservation online will receive a verification email on or after Wednesday.
If no confirmation is received by email after Wednesday, send the request again. As with those making reservations through callers, the deadline is noon Friday to add or cancel a reservation.
Members are asked to bring used eyeglasses to be donated to a sponsored outreach clinic.
This meeting is solely for MARSP members and their spouses, but they welcome any retiree from the Michigan public schools who is interested in joining MARSP or renewing their membership.
