DCHS Intensive Care Unit tribute

State Rep. Beau Lafave, R-Iron Mountain, presented a special tribute certificate Friday on behalf of the state of Michigan and Michigan Legislature to Dickinson County Healthcare System’s Intensive Care Unit. From left are Trenton Rankin, BSN RN CEN, manager of Critical/Intermediate Care and pool; Bill Edberg, DCHS Board chairman; Ken Friar; Dale Ward; Pam Faccio, RN charge nurse; LaFave; John Schon, DCHS administrator-CEO; Dick Berlinski; Sue Hadley, chief of nursing; Annette Danielson, RN; Amy Harris; and Amy Cole. “We are very fortunate to have the health care professionals that we have in our community,” Schon said. “I’m very proud of everybody and I think our community should be as well.” Added Rankin, “We would like to thank not only the ICU nursing team monitor techs, providers but the other ancillary teams that help in the ICU such as RT, Lab, EVS, dietary, etc. It is truly an entire team effort and we would like to give them a shout-out as well.”
