IRON MOUNTAIN – Operating locally since 2014, BNI Mining for Business is an international network with local businesses in each chapter.

Current membership is about 15 for a weekly networking meeting with the purpose of giving and receiving referrals. “Our guests are always impressed with our weekly presentations and referral/testimonial parts of the meeting,” said Trisha Peterson, vice president of BNI Mining for Business.

“Every week at our meeting, each member gives a one-minute weekly presentation on their business, which really educates our members to work for them,” Peterson explained. “It’s like having 15-plus more sales people working for you.”

The group meets from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesdays at the Masonic Lodge in Kingsford. Only one business per category is accepted for membership.
