Farmers Market Saturday
IRON MOUNTAIN — The Iron Mountain Farmers & Artisans Winter Market opens one Saturday a month through April, with the next market set for 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Izzo-Mariucci Center at Iron Mountain Schools, 217 Izzo-Mariucci Way.
The market is managed and operated by the Farmers Market Executive Committee under the auspices of Iron Mountain Downtown Development Authority.
The market’s produce vendors have a wide variety of fresh greens, onions, potatoes, squash, pumpkins, carrots, Brussels sprouts, and other winter vegetables.
Vendors have baked items, mushrooms, maple syrup, gluten-free goods, organic cheese, eggs, jam, apples and meat. Artists and crafters have a variety of high-quality products available for sale.
Prospective vendors must apply for space, and there is a charge to sell at the market.
