A ribbon-cutting ceremony recently took place at Bimbo’s in Iron Mountain, attended by the new owners as well as ambassadors with the Dickinson Area Chamber Alliance. “Bimbo’s has been a huge part of the Iron Mountain’s North Side history. It is our intent to carry on the traditions created in this great establishment,” according to a statement by the new owners, the Julian family. In keeping with tradition, they will offer porketta, sausage boats, hot beef and pizza made to order. Bimbo’s is at 314 E. Main St. in Iron Mountain. Shown at the ribbon cutting, from left, are: in front, Regina Freudinger, Sally Blom, Maddy Tousignant, Joe Testolin, Patty Schneider, Miranda Julian, Sheila Julian, Debbie Julian, Mike Julian, Sandi Ryan, Jada Wheatley, Julie Wheatlay, P.J. Buenger, Alice Feira, Blake Julian, Paul Julian, Sandy Petroff, Teresa Schettler and Lynda Zanon, chamber director; in back are Ben Ryan, Diane Granquist and Dan Granquist.
