Gordon, Sawicky earn GRI credentials
IRON MOUNTAIN — Two sales associates with Stephens Real Estate in Iron Mountain have earned the Graduate Realtor Institute, said Sally Blom and Maddy Tousignant, brokers and co-owners of Stephens Real Estate in Iron Mountain.
Ryan Gordon and Betsy Sawicky attended a series of more than 90 hours of classes covering a variety of subjects, including contract law, professional standards, sales and marketing, finance and risk reduction. In addition, they learned the fundamentals of brokerage and other areas of real estate specialization.
“Ryan and Betsy have both built very successful careers in an extremely competitive field, and they are now even better equipped to serve their clients,” Blom and Tousignant said.
Gordon has been active in real estate for nearly five years and ranked ninth among area realtors in 2016 with $4.6 million in sales.
A graduate of Ferris State University, Gordon also is an NCAA ice hockey official. He and his wife, Jennifer, reside in Iron Mountain with their son, Larkin, and their daughter, Wynn.
Sawicky was the top-selling area Realtor in 2016 with 79.5 units sold and ranked third in production with more than $7 million in sales. Active in real estate for more than 20 years, Sawicky also has the professional designation as an Accredited Buyer Representative.
She resides in Iron Mountain with her son, Logan, and enjoys skiing, golfing and coaching figure skating.
