IRON MOUNTAIN — A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place recently at City Sales in Iron Mountain and was attended by ambassadors with the Dickinson Area Chamber Alliance.

City Sales fills propane tanks used for grilling, camping, ice fishing, fork lifts and hunting camps. They also sell and service fire extinguishers used in homes, businesses, shops, heavy equipment and other vehicles.

In addition, City Sales is a source for CO2, dry ice and cubed ice. Freezer rental for special events also is available, and U-Haul trucks and trailers are also available for rental.

City Sales also has supplies to outfit camps for the upcoming hunting season, including a selection of camp supplies, heaters and burners.

“Complete your stop with stocking up on apples and sugar beets. After all, no camp is complete without deer feed,” a spokesman said.

The staff at City Sales includes Paul Millan, manager; Dylan Drewa, assistant manager; and Pete LaValley, fire extinguisher specialist. During the summer months, a college student is hired to assist with ice delivery.
