IMKCFCU awards four scholarships to 2018 grads

SUZANNE LARSON, MARKETING director for the Iron Mountain Kingsford Community Federal Credit Union, represented the credit union in awarding $500 scholarships to Kingsford High School graduate Alicia Morgan.

KINGSFORD — The Iron Mountain Kingsford Community Federal Credit Union in Kingsford has awarded $500 scholarships to four recent high school graduates in the area.

The scholarships were established in 2012 to honor outstanding students at their respective schools. The recipients were:

— Teiona Fuson, daughter of Kim Fuson, who plans to study biomedical engineering this fall at Michigan Technological University. She also has enlisted in the Air Force ROTC program. Fuson graduated from Norway High School.

— Lily Mercer, daughter of Jessie and Louis Pierre, who plans this fall to attend Grand Valley State University. She graduated from Iron Mountain High School.

— Jared Miller, son of Bob and Patti Miller, who plans to study a medical field this fall at Northern Michigan University. He graduated from North Dickinson County High School.

— Alicia Morgan, daughter of Josh and Amy Morgan, who plans to study accounting this fall at Bay College. She graduated from Kingsford High School.
