Lake Shore taps Sexton as community relations manager

KELLIE SEXTON

KINGSFORD — Kellie Sexton has been named community relations manager and training coordinator of Lake Shore Systems, Inc., effective immediately.

One of Sexton’s most recent projects was implementing the Heavy Metal Tours in Dickinson County. The event to educate high school students on manufacturing careers was a successful collaboration of several area businesses and schools, hosted by Bay College West in Iron Mountain.

Sexton’s role as community relations manager also includes working closely with non-profit organizations that benefit communities where Lake Shore employees work and live. “Our high priorities are organizations that support veterans and military families, education and safety,” Sexton said.

To contact Sexton for community involvement or contribution requests, email her at ksexton@lakeshoresys.com.

Lake Shore has been designing and building heavy equipment for the maritime and mining industries in the United States for 160 years.
