Boards plan meetings

The Breitung Township Schools Board of Eduction will meet today at 7 p.m. in the board room of the administration building, 2000 Pyle Drive in Kingsford.

The agenda for the meeting includes reports by the personnel and finance committees.

The Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District Board of Education will meet today at 4 p.m. in the conference room of the ISD offices in Kingsford, 1074 Pyle Drive.

Annual business will be conducted including financial report and 2015-16 budget revisions, approval of assigned/committed funds, and authorizing transfers for all departments.

Old business on the agenda includes approval to fill the position of instructional aide in special education and an associate classroom coordinator position in early childhood education.

Under new business, the board will approve the purchase of auto floor scrubbers and Vernier lab equipment and software.

The Breitung Township Board of Trustees will meet today at 7 p.m. in the board room of the township offices, 3851 Menominee St. in Quinnesec.

The Florence County School District Board of Education will meet today at 5:15 p.m. in Room 456 of the distance learning lab.

New business includes the community service results, high school math books, daycare update, school district insurance, approval of the 2016-17 purchase orders, board policies and Hillcrest facility.

A closed session is planned to consider an elementary teacher vacancy, varsity girls basketball vacancy, business manager position, 2016-17 support staff positions and student lunch accounts.

The Dickinson County Board of Commissioners will meet at 6 p.m. today in the circuit courtroom of the courthouse.

The agenda includes a presentation by Kevin Carlson, Bay West Campus vice president.

The North Dickinson County School Board of Education will hold at special meeting at 5:30 p.. Wednesday in the High School Library.

The agenda includes staffing assignments and the superintendent’s evaluation.
