Fatal victim of Seney accident ID’d
MANISTIQUE — A 20-year-old man who was involved in a fatal accident in Seney Township last Thursday has been identified.
Tyler Barker, of Germfask, was performing routine maintenance on a snow drag at the snowmobile barn located in Seney Township when the wing of the snow drag fell on him, causing life-threatening injuries, according to a press release from the Schoolcraft County Sheriff’s Department.
Barker was transported to Helen Newberry Joy Hospital, then transferred to Upper Peninsula Health Systems – Marquette. He died on the way to the Marquette hospital.
