STEM breakfast

Experts from American Transmission Co. came and shared information about their company and how they use Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) in order to build and maintain high power electrical transmission systems. Their hour-long presentation was made to about 50 students in grades 6-8 during the Breakfast with the Expert program before the start of school. Shown here from left are Janssen Baij, student Andrew Paupore and Tim Grunlund and Mr. Jim Pericolosi from the ATC. Paupore presented the guest speakers with a thank you note signed by the students and Flivver and UP Keychains that were made on the 3D printer. “The students enjoyed learning about ATC and the STEM-related careers,” a school spokesperson said.
