Gas prices rise 8 cents in state
DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) — AAA Michigan says gas prices statewide have risen by about 8 cents a gallon in the past week.
The auto club said the average price for self-serve regular unleaded gasoline was about $2.49 per gallon, about 9 cents more than at the same point last year.
The lowest average price was about $2.37 per gallon in the Marquette area. The highest average was about $2.54 a gallon in the Saginaw, Bay City and Midland areas.
