IM woman faces charges for damaging squad cars

LORI RADIC

IRON MOUNTAIN — An Iron Mountain woman faces two misdemeanors for reportedly damaging two Iron Mountain Police Department squad cars in a “fit of rage” earlier this month.

Lori Ann Radic, 54, has a pre-trial conference June 15 on charges of operating while visibly impaired by alcohol and reckless driving, both 93-day misdemeanors.

A jury trial tentatively is set for July 24 in Dickinson County District Court.

Radic drove a 2000 Dodge pickup truck at high speed into the IMPD parking lot May 13 before entering the building and “berating” the officers present, according to the criminal complaint.

When Radic returned to her truck, she backed out of the parking space with tires squealing and lost control, causing her vehicle to hit two IMPD squad cars, the complaint stated.

Radic reportedly had a .08 blood-alcohol content at the time, according to the complaint.
