CRYSTAL FALLS — A Crystal Falls woman was charged Monday in Iron County Trial Court with embezzling tens of thousands of dollars from Lakeshore/Oldenburg Group in Iron River over a three-year period.

Laura Lee Sartori, 53, faces embezzlement-between $50,000 and $100,000, a 15-year felony.

She reportedly took the money between October 2013 and October 2016 while employed as a human resources generalist at Lakeshore/Oldenburg Group, according to the criminal complaint.

Sartori will return to court for a probable cause conference Nov. 27 and a preliminary examination Dec. 4.
