Seven shot in Wisconsin hunt
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Seven hunters were shot during Wisconsin’s nine-day gun deer season, the Department of Natural Resources reports.
According to the DNR’s website Monday, five hunters accidently shot themselves during the season. The sixth was shot by someone in his own party during a deer drive in Ozaukee County on Wednesday. The seventh was hunting ducks from a kayak in Waukesha County on Friday when a stray bullet hit his legs. There were no fatalities.
