Marinette bridge closing for repairs
MARINETTE, Wis. — The Ogden Street Bridge connecting the cities of Marinette, Wis., and Menominee will close to vehicle, marine and pedestrian traffic beginning Tuesday for painting and machinery upgrades.
The bridge is expected to reopen by March 31. A signed detour will be in place directing traffic to use the U.S. 41 bridge west of the Ogden Street Bridge.
The estimated cost for bridge painting and machinery upgrades is $1.4 million, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
