IM firefighters called to DCH

IRON MOUNTAIN — Iron Mountain firefighters were called at 10:14 a.m. Thursday to a fire alarm at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.

They were advised en route the alarm was just a drill, so they continued to respond non-emergent before returning to the station at 10:31 a.m.

At 1:07 p.m. Thursday, firefighters went to a residence on the 900 block of River Avenue to check a carbon monoxide detector.

They found no carbon monoxide in the building but advised the occupant to replace the old detector. They returned to the station at 1:31 p.m.
