New role for Judge Ninomiya

Christopher Ninomiya was sworn in Tuesday as 41st Circuit Court judge, taking over after Judge Richard Celello retired effective the end of December. Rick Snyder appointed Ninomiya to the position, which includes Dickinson, Iron and Menominee counties, Dec. 15. He had served as 95-B District Court judge since 2009 and previously had been Dickinson County prosecutor.
