IMFD out on two calls

IRON MOUNTAIN — Iron Mountain firefighters were called at 3:11 p.m. Wednesday to a traffic accident at U.S. 2 and Fleshiem Street.

They cleaned up spilled fluids and then returned to the station at 3:20 p.m.

At 4:35 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters investigated a gas odor at a residence on the 700 block of West Brown Street.

They found a “bad valve” and recommended the owner have the furnace serviced. They returned to the station at 4:52 p.m.
