Eagle River to host bicycle event

EAGLE RIVER, Wis. –The fourth annual SepTimber Ride rolls into Eagle River on Sept. 8.

Two unique rides — the 50k Northwoods Road Ride and 28-mile Three Eagle Trail ride — will benefit the Great Headwaters Trails organization to support the development of bicycle trails in eastern Vilas County. Beginning and ending at the Tribute Brewing Company in Eagle River, riders have a choice of two self-guided routes from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Riders are encouraged to meet at Tribute Brewing after their ride for a bratwurst picnic and beer samples.

Registration is $50 per person and includes the ride on the Three Eagle Trail or the 50k Road Ride, a long-sleeve, wick-away event T-shirt while supplies last, brat picnic admission, door prizes and wine and beer sampling.
