Quinnesec man injured when struck by cement truck
NEGAUNEE — A 49-year-old Quinnesec man had non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a cement truck Thursday on M-95 in Marquette County’s Republic Township, Michigan State Police-Negaunee Post troopers said.
Dean Lindblom was on foot about 10:05 a.m. near Witch Lake when he was hit by a northbound Champion Inc., truck driven by 52-year-old James Sargent of Iron Mountain, troopers said.
Lindblom was taken to U.P. Health Systems-Marquette for treatment, troopers said.
No additional information has been released.
Republic Township Fire/EMS and UPHS-Marquette EMS assisted troopers at the accident site.
