CASPIAN — A Caspian man has been accused of domestic assault in an incident that authorities said included the man coming back to the home with a knife.

The Iron County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect had fled the residence when deputies arrived after 6:50 p.m. Tuesday, but returned with the knife while deputies and state police troopers searched the area, the office said in a news release.

The man was arrested without incident and is in the Iron County Jail on two counts of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder or strangulation, felonious assault and misdemeanor domestic assault.
