Niagara Public Library taking part in Give A Kid A Book

NIAGARA, Wis. — The Niagara Public Library will again participate in the Give A Kid A Book Campaign.

People are encouraged to buy and drop off new books which are geared anywhere from infant to young adult. This year there is a great need for board books, books for teens, especially in the 13-15 years old range.

These books are distributed to area families in Christmas boxes in conjunction with Karen’s Pantry.

Books can be dropped off at the Niagara Public Library during normal business hours until Dec 3.

“Times are tough and because of this fact, more and more people are in need of assistance, so let’s get in the holiday spirit so we can provide the gift of reading to as many people as possible,” said Bruce Darne, Niagara librarian. “Let’s try to make this our most successful year ever.”
