DCHS Foundation Love Lights ceremony to honor Nancy Morin

Nancy Morin

IRON MOUNTAIN — The annual Love Lights Tree Lighting Ceremony set for 5:30 p.m. Monday at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital will celebrate employee Nancy Morin.

Morin’s family and friends will welcome guests, offer a short memorial address and serve as official tree lighters for this year’s event.

“Nancy enjoyed the company of everyone she worked with and made many lifelong friends at DCHS,” said Joe Rizzo, DCHS public relations manager. “We miss you Nancy and you will always be in our hearts.”

Morin worked at DCHS for 27 years in numerous roles, including human resources specialist.

The Dickinson County Hospital Foundation invites the entire community to join the celebration, which not only begins the holiday season but allows community members to honor and remember loved ones while raising funds to benefit local health care projects.

During the tree lighting ceremony and throughout the holiday season, the names of all those honored and remembered are displayed in the hospital lobby.

In addition to the traditional tree lighting ceremony and posting of names, a charm tree will be displayed in the hospital lobby throughout the holiday season. The names and families of those honored and remembered will be etched onto a small charm and displayed on the tree. Families and loved ones are invited to take the charms home during the tree lighting ceremony or at any time during the holidays.

Love Lights can be purchased in honor or in memory of a loved one, a family, a service person or a business or organization. To request a form, contact Teresa Schettler at 906-776-5521 or Teresa.Schettler@dchs.org or go to www.dchs.org.
