SAGOLA — Sharon “Shari” L. Hare, 70, of Sagola, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017, at Aspirus Hospital in Iron River.

She was born on May 5, 1946, in Oak Park, Ill. daughter of the late Charles and Shirley (Kreig) O’Neill.

Shari grew up in Chicago and graduated from High School in Chicago.

She married George Hare on Nov. 2, 1963, in Chicago. He preceded her in death on July 9, 2007. They resided in Des Plaines, Ill., from 1976 until 2004, when they moved to Sagola.

She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Saglola. Shari enjoyed reading, her trips to the casino and especially the time she spent with family and friends.

Shari is survived by one beloved daughter, Tracie Knapp, Williamsburg, Va.; two grandchildren, Daniel and Kara; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church, Sagola.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 5 p.m. at the church. Pastor Ryan Flunker will officiate.
