AURORA, Wis. — Alice Jean Baker, 96, of Aurora, passed away on Monday, Sept. 4, 2017, at Rennes East Nursing Home in Peshtigo, Wis.
She was born on July 19, 1921, in Marinette, Wis., daughter of the late Raymond and Clara (Osier) Perkins. She attended Marinette schools, graduating from Marinette High School in 1939. She married her first husband Morgan F. Corwin, and he preceded her in death. She then married Leroy F. Baker and he preceded her in death.
Alice worked as a respiratory therapy technician for the Bay Area Medical Center for many years until retiring. In her spare time she enjoyed making crafts, gardening and taking trips to the casino. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for many years.
Alice is survived by her son, Gary (Ann) Corwin of Stephenson; and her daughter, Sandy (Ken) Schuette of Fairfield Bay, Ark.; six grandchildren, Sandy (Gary) Corwin-Klaver, Lynn Corwin, Jackie Corwin, Tracey (Rick) Corlett, Kari (Rick) Loew, and Christopher (Kelly) Schuette; 13 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Aurora.
The funeral Mass will follow Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the church.
Fr. Matthew Settle will offer the Mass of Christian Burial.
Burial will take place in the Forest Home Cemetery in Marinette.
