IRON MOUNTAIN — Glen A. Gursky, 69, of Iron Mountain, passed away on Monday, Oct. 9, 2017 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, Wis.
Glen was born on July 28, 1948, son of Glen Sr. and Blanche (Ranta) Gursky. Glen worked in construction for many years. He loved numerous outdoor activities — fishing, hunting, camping, and riding his side-by-side. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He and his wife, Pamela, made a wonderful Santa and Mrs. Claus at Christmas time that amazed and delighted area children. His family was very close to his heart.
Glen is survived by his wife, Pamela; mother, Blanche; sons, Shawn A. Gursky and Aaron J. (Sarah) Gursky; daughter, Charity; brothers, Mike (Marsha) Gursky, David (Linda) Gursky, and Steve Gursky; brother-in-law, Dale (Judy) Engstrom; sister-in-law, Susan Macki; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Glen was preceded in death by his father, Glen A. Gursky Sr.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Crystal Falls.
