Carole Jeanne (Wolfe) Johnson
SKANDIA — Carole Jeanne (Wolfe) Johnson, 75, of Skandia, entered eternal life Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at UP Health System – Marquette, in the loving care of her family.
Born Aug. 26, 1942, in Muncie, Ind., and Carole was raised in Whittier, Calif. On July 23, 1960, Carole was united in marriage to James Johnson in Whittier. The couple moved to Iron Mountain in 1968 where they established a home and raised a daughter.
On Aug. 26, 1994, Carole and Jim relocated to the Skandia area. A homemaker, Carole enjoyed nothing better than taking care of her family and treasured time spent with them, especially her only grandson Jacob J. Erikkila.
Carole is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jim Johnson; her daughter, Wendy K. (Mike Patron) Erkkila and grandson, Jacob J. Erkkila all of Skandia; two sisters, Kathleen (Jackie Burger) Wright of Fontana, Calif., and Theresa (Dotty Gray) Wright of Riverside, Calif., Cheyenne Patron-Anderson; and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Marguerite Wright.
Honoring Carole’s request, no public services will be held. The family would like to express a sincere thank you to Dr. Jen and Dr. Chris Dehlin at Singletrack Health and Dr. Sheetal Acharya at UP Hemotology Oncology and their staff for the great, kind and compassionate care they provided to Carole.
