Julie A. Tass
IRON MOUNTAIN — Julie A. Tass, 63, of Iron Mountain, passed peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 18, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with ALS.

She married Ron Tass on June 12, 1976, at St. Mary and St. Joseph Church in Iron Mountain. Together she and Ron raised three children.
Julie was a stay at home mother and after the kids had grown, went back to work as an educational assistant and substitute teacher for the Iron Mountain School System. Julie was a member of St. Mary and St. Joseph Church. Over the years she has been active in many of the church activities. She enjoyed camping, going to camp, reading and being a spectator at all sporting events. She especially loved spending time with family and grandchildren.
Julie’s purpose and passion in life was her family. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. These roles were her mission in life. To know Julie was to love Julie. From the moment you met her, you were accepted and loved. She met her challenges with acceptance and grace, never with a complaint.
