LORETTO — Beverly Rossato, 86, of Loretto, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family in Loretto.
She was born on May 25, 1931, in Iron Mountain, the daughter of the late Howard and Emma (Carbonelli) Harris.
Beverly graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1951.
She married Bernard Rossato on Sept. 12, 1952, in St. Mary St. Joseph Church in Iron Mountain.
Beverly along with her husband owned and operated Z and R Electric, where she did all the bookwork for over 25 years.
She was a member of St. Barbara’s Church in Vulcan and enjoyed cooking, baking, canning jams and jellies. She had a love of cookbooks and was always looking for new recipes.
Beverly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be missed.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bernard; daughters Denice (Jerry) Miller of Wausaukee, Wis., and Marybeth Tanguay of Faithorn; grandchildren Brynn Schultz, Patrick (Donna) Tanguay and Kurt (Amy) Tanguay; great-grandchildren Madelynn, Easton and Ella Schultz, Shane and Paul Swanson, and Cooper Tanguay; brother Jim (Diane) Harris; many nieces and nephews; and special friends Margaret Conery-Menza and Gloria Brault.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Peter Tanguay; and sister, June Rohoi.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, at St. Barbara’s Church in Vulcan.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Barbara’s Church, with the Rev. Timothy Ekaitis presiding.
Interment will be at the Norway Township Cemetery in the spring.
