Charlotte R. Jedda

IRON MOUNTAIN — Charlotte R. Jedda, 93, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls. Charlotte was born in Niagara, Wis., on April 4, 1924, daughter of the late James A. and Lois E. (Ethington) Haven. Charlotte was employed as an assembly worker at Hancock Wood Products in her younger years. She married and had three daughters whom she loved dearly. She was a faithful member of Balsam St. Christian Church in Kingsford. Charlotte also had a special place in her heart for the outdoors and especially enjoyed watching hummingbirds.

Charlotte is survived by two daughters, Linda (John) Lahti of Kingsford and Mary Beth (Robert) Weber of Kingsford; one sister, Lois Everal Summers of Green Bay, Wis.; one son-in-law, Fred Antonissen of Quinnesec; three grandchildren, Kristi Fraga, Robert Antonissen, and Jim Weber; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Herman W. “Bill” Nelson and Joseph D. Jedda; one daughter, Ruth Antonissen of Quinnesec; three brothers, James Haven, Morris Haven and Harold Haven; two sisters, Faye Haven and Louise Hockstock; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday Dec. 9, 2017, at Balsam St. Christian Church in Kingsford. A service will follow at 2:30 p.m., officiated by Rev. Larry Neargarth.
