GREEN BAY, Wis. — Donald Paul Ott, 76, of Green Bay, went to his heavenly home Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017.
He was born on March 20, 1941, in Sagola, to the late John and Cecile (Sexton) Ott. He graduated from Channing High School with the Class of 1959.
Don married Mary Patricia Feak on Aug. 4, 1961, in Milwaukee. In 1966 he began his employment at the Milwaukee Road Railroad. He also worked for the Soo Line and retired from Canadian Pacific in 2002.
He enjoyed traveling with his family, camping, cutting wood for the fireplace, his cat Tessa Shay, and was an avid lifelong Green Bay Packers fan.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Mary; son, Eric (Elizabeth) Ott, of Marshall, Wis.; daughters, Lisa (Bruce) Wanish of Green Bay, Cyndi (Tim) Roberts of Davenport, Iowa; grandchildren, Jordan, Casey, Alex, Jesse, Maya, Celia and Ezra; daughter-in-law, Denis Ott; sisters, June (Robert) Pollock, Helen (Bill) Bjorkman, Patt (John) Carlson; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara (John) Geline.
He is further survived by nieces, nephews, many cousins, other relatives, dear friends David and Carol Hackett, George and Sue Schissel and boys, Ralph and Cheri Herro, and Gary and Marie Stekloff.
He was preceded in death by his son, David; his parents; mother- and father-in-law; brother, Rodney, an infant twin brother and sister; brothers-in-law, Dean Anderson and Wayne Swanson; nephews, Michael Geline and Paul Pollock.
There will be no visitation prior to the service.
The Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6 at First Covenant Church in Iron Mountain.
Burial will be in Channing Cemetery.
