KINGSFORD — Lolly A. Miller, 67, of Kingsford, passed away on June 21, 2018, at her home.

Lolly was born on March 20, 1951, in Gladstone, daughter of the late Joseph and Visitacion (Espiritu) Lucier. She grew up in Brampton and attended Gladstone High School.

Against her parents wishes, Lolly eloped with David McLeod and was married in 1968. They were married 18 years and lived in Wilson, raising their three children until David’s death in 1986.

Lolly went back to school and attended Bay de Noc College for several years.

She married Stephen Miller on Oct. 11, 2003, in Kingsford.

She and Steve spent the past 15 years in Kingsford. Lolly had been employed as a clerk for the United States Postal Service in Kingsford for many years, retiring in 2013.

Lolly’s most enjoyable moments were spent with her kids and grandkids. She looked forward to every event that involved them and could be counted on to be there to cheer them on. She was an avid outdoor enthusiast who loved fishing and hunting with her family. She loved gardening and was especially fond of simply watching her flowers grow. Lolly loved nature. Her family learned from her how to enjoy the simple things in life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Chris Lucier.

Lolly is survived by her husband, Steve; children, David McLeod Jr. of Wilson, Danielle (Jeff) Neville of Hermansville and Denise (Rob) Maule of Iron Mountain; stepson, Joe (Amanda) Miller of Oshkosh, Wis.; stepdaughter, Andre Miller of Iron Mountain; grandchildren, David McLeod III, Keshia Hruska, Marti Neville, Alex Neville, Kallee Neville, Gianna Maule and Jaden Maule; step-grandchildren, Ethan Miller and Joe Miller; great-grandchildren, Kiara Grondine, Kooper Kresl and David McLeod IV; brothers, Raymond Lucier of Brampton, Mich., Jeff and Joe Lucier of Gladstone; sisters, Patricia (Ron) Constantino of Brampton, Betty Dahn of Gladstone, Jean (Dale) Demeuse of Howell and Lucy Lucier of Gladstore.

A celebration of Lolly’s life will be 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, June 26 at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain.

Burial will be in the Bark River Cemetery.
