QUINNESEC — Rosalyn M. Bilski, 81, of Quinnesec, died Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain.

She was born on June 8, 1937, in Norway, the daughter of the late Louis and Emma (Zanon) DeBakker.

Rosalyn graduated from Vulcan High School in 1955.

She married Samuel J. Bilski on May 5, 1956, at St. Stephens Church in Loretto. He preceded her in death on Aug. 29, 1991.

Rosalyn studied to be a nurses aide, worked at Norway Gravure, the Rialto Restaurant and retired from Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in the environmental services department.

She was a member of St. Marys Church in Norway, enjoyed gardening and flowers, painting, adult coloring books, hunting and fishing.

Rosalyn is survived by her sons, Thomas (Kevin Hendershot) Bilski of Deerfield, Wis., Dale (Pam Miller) Bilski of Quinnesec and Samuel (Tammy) Bilski of Vulcan; granddaughter she never had, Madelynn LeClaire of Waterford, Wis.; sister, Percy (Edward) Maeder of Athelstane, Wis.; brother, Thomas (Sandra) DeBakker of Vulcan; brother-in-law, Gene Walker of Milwaukee; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Lorraine Walker.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 2 at the Ortman Funeral Home in Norway.

Parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 3 at St. Marys Church in Norway.

Interment will be held at the Norway Township Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Rosalyn’s living memorial that her family is planning.
