Daniel L. “Dan” Lantagne

NIAGARA, Wis. — Daniel L. “Dan” Lantagne, 79, of Niagara, passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, at his home.

He was born June 24, 1939, in Niagara, son of the late Mitchell and Clarice (Bourassa) Lantagne.

Dan graduated from Niagara High School, Class of 1961. After graduation he went to work for the Niagara Paper Mill and worked there as a papermaker for 38 years until his retirement.

Dan was a member of the Aurora Free Church, Aurora, Wis.

In his spare time, Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by one son, Daniel Lantagne of Florence; two brothers, Doug Lantagne of Niagara and Gary (Margaret) Lantagne of Arizona; two sisters, Phyllis Rihtarshich of Aurora and Delores of Texas; and one grandson, Trevor (Tareeya) Lantagne.

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Bill Lantagne; and one sister, Bonnie.

Graveside services will be announced in the spring.

Burial will be in the Niagara Cemetery, Niagara.
