LANSING — Gerald J. DeJuliannie, 82, passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2019. He was born May 4, 1936, in Iron Mountain, to Alfred and Virginia DeJuliannie. Gerald was a graduate of Iron Mountain High School and Northern Michigan University. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was active with the Democratic Party. He retired from the State of Michigan as a budget analyst.
He is survived by his daughter, Amy (Ken) Willis; grandchildren, Christopher and Lauren Willis; brothers, Alfred (Rosemary) and David DeJuliannie; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joseph; nephews, Scott and Lawrence DeJuliannie; and niece, Mary DeJuliannie.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Eastern time Saturday, Jan. 12 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel: 325 W. Washtenaw Street, Lansing, MI 48933.
His family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Starry Skies Equine Rescue and Sanctuary, Ann Arbor.
